Only the U.S. Specification 1750 roundtail spiders came from the factory with SPICA Manual Fuel Injection. All other roundtail spiders came with dual Weber Carburettors.
Most owners would prefer to replace the SPICA injection with Carburettors. They won't admit it, but this is mainly due to their lack of understanding of the manual injection system. Alfa Romeo compounded the issue by not providing replacement parts for the injection pump, but only complete pumps. They are complex, but very cool, and capible of being modified for extremely high performance. (see Ingraham Enterprises on the links page )
